Synopsis of Game
Stars Alight is about a grandfather telling his grandson about all the famous places he visited in his travels during travels as a Cartographer. All grown up, the grandson often talks to his girlfriend about the places in his grandfather stories. Their relationship blossoms and deepens as they share the things that his grandfather once treasured.
The game is based on astrometry and horoscope-themed. We researched on stars and how they connected, so as to illustrate the puzzle as an astronomical pattern. Later in the project we involved the horoscopes into famous places in the world as the story suggest that its part of his grandfather’s travels.
As the player moves through a tile, it will flip over and reveal what’s hidden underneath. The objective of the game is to reveal all the tiles that form the picture or pattern of famous places and icons.
